Helia has been named the winner of the 2024 Australian Mortgage Awards’ Best Industry Marketing Campaign, recognising its ‘Better, Sooner, Brighter’ video campaign.
The campaign addresses the challenge faced by many homebuyers in navigating the overwhelming property market and overcoming the hurdle of the 20% deposit. By highlighting the benefits of Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), the video encourages homebuyers to consider all options to help them enter the property market sooner.
Designed to empower mortgage brokers, the video shifts perceptions of LMI from being seen as an extra cost to being valued as a strategic pathway to homeownership.
The video showcases how two couples with the same deposit, seeking homes in the same area, could have two very different outcomes – comparing one couple who paid the LMI fee and the other couple buying without LMI. The campaign also underscores the vital role of mortgage brokers in the homebuying journey. It highlights how brokers equip clients with essential information and identify opportunities tailored to their circumstances, helping homebuyers make informed decisions with confidence.
“This award reflects our commitment to supporting brokers and homebuyers with innovative solutions and impactful education,” says Greg McAweeney, Helia’s Chief Commercial Officer. “I couldn’t be prouder of our team’s creativity and dedication to bringing this campaign to life.”
Helia exists to accelerate financial wellbeing through homeownership, and helping homebuyers understand their options is key to this mission. Watch the video here.
